Topics:
  • Role of the neurovascular unit in inflammatory processes of the central nervous system
  • Role of the blood-brain barrier and of the cerebral microenvironment in the formation of metastases of the central nervous system
  • Pericytes in the center stage of neurovascular functions
  • Role of endothelial precursor cells in the regeneration of brain microvessels

Further information can be found at Hungarian Doctoral Council and at University of Szeged Doctoral Institute.

Positions for undergraduate and graduate students

We are permanently recruiting graduate students to our lab. Besides the opportunity of working with cutting-edge laboratory methods, students are offered mentoring for preparation of their MD/BSc/MSc thesis in the topics of neuro-immuno-vascular interactions and brain metastasis formation. We support our students to participate in the local and national phases of the Conference of Scientific Students' Associations and other scientific competitions.
